What is the Home & Garden Show?
The Alton Home & Garden Show is a yearly event started by the Alton Centennial Rotary Club in 2007 designed to bring the community together and bring local businesses to the spotlight. The event allows local businesses of any size to claim a spot and show off their products and services, and people can come through and explore all of the options they have that they didn't even know were right in their town the whole time. Every year since 2007, the show has grown bigger and better, and this year the Alton Centennial Rotary decided they wanted to let PMHS FBLA host the show, and we have been working hard to bring the show to everyone.

What to expect from the show?
The Home & Garden Show will take place at Prospect Mountain High School
showcasing local business and organizations
For businesses, there will be plots throughout the areas that can be rented for the day where you can put up a table, a display, or anything to advertise your business. We expect at least 150 businesses to be present, so make sure to purchase a spot! Both the businesses and community agree that this is a great way to spread the word about local opportunities. Vendor Setup is Saturday, May 31st, from 7am - 9am, and doors open to the public at 9am. All vendors are requested to stay setup until 3pm.
For the public, the school will open from 9 AM to 3 PM, and you will be able to walk through and observe the many different businesses that you never realized were right around you. The goal of the Home & Garden Show is to not only to support local businesses by giving them recognition, but also to support the community by showing them that instead of travelling all the way to a large store in Concord or Rochester, there are many options right here that can allow them to save time and money, and support a better cause.
